Acid Lab jumps back on the Omni Music release schedule with his first solo EP.
He has kept the vibe clearly all things Omni, with 3 tracks of deep atmospheric drum workouts, washed with ambient synths and subterranean bass hooks.
The title track Aurora mixes drumfunk edits and synth washes that carry the listener into an interstellar dream. This is followed by Moons of Saturn, an epic amen journey reminiscent of late 90’s Good Looking Records masterpieces. The EP ends on the beautifully arranged Funky Mule-driven 'Sunstorm' where the deep beats merge with even more ambient atmospheres to create another space age voyage for those who close their eyes and let themselves go. Once again, Acid Lab shows his versatility and skill at turning his hand to different styles within the drum and bass universe.
